A rabbi has shared the occasion when a person attempted to break into his Manchester house of worship during a deadly attack, remarking "I witnessed wickedness, I observed hatred".

The cleric explained that he and congregation members secured the entrances of the temple as Jihad Al-Shamie was "ramming the gateways, hurling large flower containers, doing anything he was able to to enter".
